ENROLLMENT CRITERIA

Enrollment in high school is based on the following criteria:

general success in the last cycle of elementary school;

success on the external knowledge test at the end of primary education;

success in Montenegrin-Serbian, Bosnian and Croatian language and literature, i.e., mother tongue, mathematics and teaching subjects important for the acquisition of education in the last cycle of primary school;

results from national and international competitions, i.e. awards.

Evaluation of success on the external knowledge test

For enrollment in the "Sveti Sava" high school, success in the external test of knowledge in the subject CSBH is evaluated, i.e. mother tongue and literature, mathematics and one subject of the student's choice, so that a grade of excellent (5) carries 10 points, a grade of very good (4 ) carries 7 points, grade good (3) carries 4 points, grade sufficient (2) carries 1 point and grade insufficient (1) carries 0 points.

Evaluation of overall success

General success in the last three grades of primary school is expressed by the number of points by adding up the average grades of general success in the last three grades and multiplying by the number three (3). The total number of points is rounded to two decimal places.

Evaluation of success in teaching subjects

Success in CSBH language and literature, i.e. mother tongue and literature, mathematics and two teaching subjects of importance for further education in the last cycle of primary school is evaluated by adding up the individual grades from those teaching subjects and dividing their sum by the number two (2) . Subjects of importance for further education when enrolling students in the 1st grade of "Sveti Sava" Gymnasium are foreign language and physics.

Evaluation of competition results and awards

The results of elementary school students achieved in individual competitions in teaching subjects are evaluated in such a way that the following points are awarded to the candidate who won one of the first three places, awards, or medals in the last cycle of elementary school:

international competition: first place, first prize, i.e. gold medal - 20 points; second place, second prize, i.e. silver medal - 18 points; third place, third prize, i.e. bronze medal - 15 points.

national competition: first place, i.e. first prize - 15 points; second place, or second prize - 13 points; third place, or third prize - 10 points.

In the event that a candidate from one subject wins individual places, awards, or medals at multiple levels of the competition, the best achieved result, or the highest number of points won at one level of the competition, is taken into account. In the event that a candidate from two or more subjects wins one or more individual places, prizes, or medals, the points from all subjects are added up by competition level, taking into account the best achieved result, i.e. the highest number of points won at one level of competition.

The "Lucha" diploma is valued at 12 points.

Ranking of applicants for admission

Candidates are ranked according to the total number of points achieved on all bases, which are evaluated on a single ranking list. When several candidates achieve the same number of points, candidates who have achieved a higher number of points have priority in the ranking:

at the external knowledge test at the end of primary education;

based on general success in the last cycle of elementary school;

on the basis of grades from Montenegrin - Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian, i.e. mother tongue and literature, mathematics and two subjects of importance for further education in the last cycle of elementary school.
