Maundy Tuesday, Easter Tuesday (Greek: Τρίτη Διακαινησίμου), the second day after Easter, when the celebration of the greatest Christian holiday – Easter continues, both in church services and in the homes of Orthodox believers. The services are the same as the previous two days.

Acts 4:14-21

In those days, Peter stood up with the eleven and raised his voice and said to them: Men of Judea, and all you who dwell in Jerusalem: let this be known to you, and listen to my words. For these are not drunk, as you suppose, for it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith the Lord, that I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. And also upon my servants and upon my handmaids in those days will I pour out of my Spirit, and they shall prophesy. And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath, blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
