MEMORIAL OF THE BENEFICIARIES OF SERBIAN SCHOOLS
Today, the Church celebrates the Venerable Euthymius the Great, a saint who gathered many disciples around him during his lifetime, among them future famous saints: Kyriakos the Hermit, Sava the Sanctified, Theoctist and others.
This holiday is also the first Sunday after Savindan, when, according to the old Kotor custom, the memorial of the benefactors of Serbian schools in Kotor is celebrated, and this was the case today at the service in the Church of Saint Nicholas.
The Divine Liturgy was presided over by the hierarchal vicar of Kotor-Tivat, the parish priest of Kotor, Archpriest-staurophorus Nemanja Krivokapić. Archpriest Nenad Kalemi and priest Mihajlo Lazarević concelebrated.
