Metropolitan Ioannikije visited the works on the church and St. Sava High School in Podgorica
His Eminence the Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral, Mr. Joanikije today, April 10, 2024, accompanied by archpriest-stavrophor Dalibor Milaković and archpriest Ostoja Knežević, visited the works on the construction of the church and St. Sava Gymnasium in the Old Airport neighborhood of Podgorica.
Most Reverend Metropolitan Ioanniki was welcomed by the founder of the future temple, Mr. Risto Drekalović, as well as the competent priest Jerej Blažo Božović, director of the company "KIPS gradnja" responsible for the execution of the works - Nikola Drekalović with his team of engineers: Vuk Raković, Mikan Vujović and Jovan Roganović, chief engineer of the construction company "Justinijan" - Željko Milačić with associates Lazar Šćekić and Jelena Mišnić, director of the company "Ding" which supervises the works - Danilo Bašić with his associates, representative of the company "Sintezis" which worked on the project of the Gymnasium - Dušan Jelovac, as well as architects: Dušan Jovanović and Nikodin Žižić, expert associate of Archpriest-Stavrophor Dragan Mitrović on projects of artistic decoration of the Church of St. Sava - Boris Music with engineers: Gavr Dedić, Mladen Terzić and Rado Drašković from different fields of engineering depending on the phases and type of construction.
On this occasion, Metropolitan Ioanikije thanked and expressed great gratitude to everyone who makes a selfless contribution and who helps the construction of this most modern school complex in Montenegro, especially emphasizing the impressive dynamics of the works since all the rough work on the Gymnasium will be completed by May 1 of the current year, and Rough works on the St. Sava Temple until the end of July.
