Metropolitan Luka: Kosovo is an integral part of Serbia and the Serbian Orthodox Church

His Eminence the Metropolitan of Zaporozhye Mr. Luka supported the superior, bishops and congregation of the Serbian Orthodox Church
- The ban on the Serbian Patriarch to come to the territory of Kosovo and Metohija cannot be called only the height of absurdity, it is a manifestation of the total destruction of Orthodoxy. Unfortunately, cold [geo]strategic manipulation is behind this decision. In fact, the fact that false information about the fact that the Serbs allegedly "never built" churches in Kosovo and that they "only took them away" from others is not without reason. Under the cover of this manipulation, a simple goal is hidden - to cast doubt on the legitimacy of the presence of the Serbian Church in the original Serbian territories, as well as laying the foundations for radical changes in the religious identity of its population, and the aforementioned ban is one of the serious steps in that direction. The patriarch is simply not allowed on the territory where his faithful people live, who are in dire need of support and protection. With such a gross violation of basic rights, they want to show the whole world that the leader of the Serbian Church is allegedly a "foreigner" in Kosovo, and that the Serbian Orthodox Church has no future in the region. In support of my words is the demonstrative desecration of the Church of the Holy Trinity in the village of Naklo near Pec, which happened after the entry of Patriarch Porfiri into Kosovo and Metohija was blocked. In light of this - according to the words of the Holy Apostle Paul that if one limb suffers, then the whole body suffers - I consider it necessary to support my fellow Serbian bishops. Your work is God's work and you are on the side of truth. May the Lord help you in preserving the spiritual cradle of Serbia, and also in taking care of the flock of Kosovo and Metohija.
Our dear brothers and sisters, dear believing people of our fraternal Church, as you know, God is not in force, but in truth! The diocese of Zaporizhia will pray for this crazy situation to be adequately resolved. We will also appeal to all caring people in other local Churches in this regard to join forces and jointly appeal to international institutions demanding the protection of the basic rights of the Serbian Orthodox Church - said Metropolitan Luka, who, let us remind you, is under persecution for his professing Orthodoxy and taking care of the flock entrusted to him. He is currently under house arrest pending trial on trumped-up charges.
