
Metropolitan Nikolay and the delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad visiting the Serbian Orthodox Church
His Eminence the Eastern American Metropolitan Mr. Nikolay, the First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, will visit the Serbian Orthodox Church with his entourage next week.
The First Hierarch and Delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, which consists of the Metropolitan of Berlin and the German Mr. Marko, Archbishop Gavrilo of Montreal and Canada, Archbishop Peter of Chicago and Central America, Bishop Irinej of London and Western Europe and Bishop of Stuttgart Mr. Jov, will take a prayerful part in the Salvation Day procession on the occasion of the glory of the City of Belgrade. On this occasion, for the blessing of the Serbian people, Metropolitan Nikolay brought the miraculous icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary from Kursk, which will be carried in the slavish procession together with the relics of Venerable Justin Ćelijski.
The delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad will visit Sremsk Karlovci on June 14, 2024, on the occasion of the centenary of the fraternal welcome of Russian bishops exiled by the godless communist government in Russia.
