His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch Mr. On June 23, 2024, on the feast of the Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles - Spirits, Porphyry served the Holy Liturgy in the Church of the Holy Archangel Michael in Hamburg. On that occasion, Patriarch Porphyry performed the act of great consecration of that holy temple.

Contributors were: the Most Reverend Metropolitans Grigorije of Germany and Nikodim of Dalmatia; Reverend Bishops Irinej of Washington-New York and Eastern America, Jovan of Pakrac and Slavonia, Sergije of Bihać-Petrova and Jovan of Hum; with the prayerful participation of many faithful people. During the Holy Liturgy, Archpriest Siniša Vujasinović was awarded the right to wear the pectoral cross.

- It is our duty to be witnesses of the name of Christ wherever we are, and especially when we are scattered - said Patriarch Porphyry and emphasized: Here, in the dispersion, it is necessary not only to acquire material treasures, but to live Christ fully be able to integrate into the space in which we live and at the same time be able to open up to those with whom we come into contact and communication without complexes and communication, so that our faith and love are a bridge by which we enrich those for whom God brought us to be here , but also, internally and fundamentally, we are also enriched by them.

- When we are gathered in Christ, as is the case today, our soul is always joyful, peaceful and filled with joy. No fear, no feeling of loneliness, no feeling lost. We all know it, all of us whom God has looked at and everyone who has been touched by the grace of the Holy Spirit knows it. It is important that you, brothers and sisters, who live in Germany far from your homeland, not only know this, but also gather in the house of God, because surely everything that comes as a temptation, as a difficulty, will be with ease not only presented and endured, but will be overcome with ease. When our root is together with the root of Christ, when it is in His Church, then we will be at home and wherever we are at home - said Patriarch Porphyry.
