Review of the 326th issue of Svetigora: Sing to our God, sing

The last issue of Svetigora this year, a model for faith, culture and education, published by the Metropolis of Montenegro and the Littoral, was published on the eve of the feast of the Presentation of the Most Holy Theotokos, and the first text is dedicated to the veneration of the Most Holy Theotokos, taken from the book of Saint John of Shanghai. It is followed by a text by Archimandrite Sophrony (Sakharov) “On Eternity”.
With the celebration of the 450th anniversary of the restoration of the Morača Monastery and its frescoes, Svetigora introduces its readers through a report and a letter by Dragan Lakićević “As long as the Morača Monastery exists, we will know what our names were” and through an interview with His Eminence Metropolitan Joanikije about that anniversary.
One of the reports in this issue informs about the stay of Metropolitan Joanikije in Košice.
The others are related to the celebration of Lucindan and Saint Peter in Cetinje and the annual commemoration of the late Metropolitan Amfilohije under the title “Even though he left, he is still with us”.
Svetigora also published a letter by Archimandrite Jefrem Dabanović about Saint Justin from the Trinity Academy in Stanjevići, as well as the words of Metropolitan Joanikije from the awarding of the “Izviisksra” to this year’s laureate Gojko Đog. A part of the lecture by MA Ivan Radulović Grahovac “The Lighthouse of Freedom” was also published, as well as the second part of the text by Dr. Radoslav Tomović on the occasion of the 530th anniversary of the printing of the first book in the Serbian language – the Oktoikh of the First Herald.
Dr. Budimir Aleksić writes about Mitar Đaković, a church and national preacher. Svetigora also remembered the famous priest Nikola Mandić and mentioned the recently deceased sister Anđelija Dragović.
Finally, there are the sections Archive and Chronicle of the Metropolis, with highlighted news that the Metropolis of Montenegro and the Littoral is this year's best publisher from the diaspora and the region and that after thirty-three years of leading the II Svetigora, Archpriest-Staurophorus Radomir Nikčević handed over the duties of director to Archpriest-Staurophorus Dalibor Milaković and the duties of editor to Archpriest Aleksandar Lekić.
