RICH PROGRAM OF THE CHILDREN'S SAINT SAVA ACADEMY IN THE CHURCH OF ST. NICHOLAS IN KOTOR

"This Church is our home. These are the words of the song that our friends just sang, and that is the essence and meaning of our gathering with you today, that here, in the Church, from where every blessing and every joy originates and flows, let us once again celebrate together our Saint Sava, the Enlightener and Teacher, our greatest intercessor and advocate before the Lord. Dear friends, welcome to another Children's Saint Sava Academy, which, as has been traditionally done for years, we have been preparing for you, and in the glory and honor of Saint Sava! Welcome!”, said Anastasija Pajović, introducing the large audience to the rich and diverse program of the Children's Saint Sava Academy, which is traditionally held every year on Savindan in the Church of St. Nicholas in the Old Town of Kotor.

The program began with Marija Lazarević reciting NAS ATHONSKIM HTRAMOM, followed by Damjana Kapetanović reciting the lyrics of the song GLAVNA POUKA.

Under the baton of Mrs. Ivana Krivokapić, the recitations flowed into beautiful melodies, and the Children's Choir sang the song SAINT SAVA. Petra Bogdanović performed the solo.

ABOUT THE DEED OF SAINT SAVA, soloists were Ivana Nikolić and Ognjen Nikolić, and the famous song by Vojislav Ilić - WHO STRIKES SO LATE was recited by Anastasija Milić.

The following songs were performed: LET'S SING TO SAINT SAVA, MILESEVSKI ANĐEO (solo by Danica Matanović), LET'S SPREAD LOVE, O SERBIAN BRIDE, HYMN TO SAINT SAVA...

And finally, the words of our young presenter: “We sang and chanted to Saint Sava tonight, joyfully and proudly, as this wonderful Kotor Saint Sava hymn says, and we will sing, God willing, for many more years, together with all of you! Thank you for being with us tonight, we hope you enjoyed it. See you next year!
May we all live in harmony, may Saint Sava help you!”

After the Children's Saint Sava Academy, where all the children were given appropriate gifts and books (about Saint Sava, Saint Nicholas, Saint Stephen of Decani, Orthodox religious education...), the SPDO Kotor Treasury celebrated the SPD Unity (1839) Kotor, with the remembrance of the deceased members and a prayer for the continuation of the fruitful work of the Society with God's help and the help of Saint Sava, a slava cake was cut, and a traditional service was also held.
