His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch G. Porfirije will be in Kotor on September 28 and 29 on the occasion of the renovation of the Kotor Church of St. Nicholas and the celebration of 185 years of the Serbian Singing Society Jedinstvo (1839) Kotor, Archpriest Nemanja Krivokapić, Archpriest of Kotor Professor, told Radio "Svetigora" Cetinje Theological Seminary.

According to Father Nemanja, His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije will on Saturday, September 28, in the afternoon hours in the Church of Saint Nicholas in Kotor, attend the ceremonial academy held on the occasion of 185 years of work of the Serbian Singing Society (SPD) "Jedinstvo" (1839) from Kotor, where the sermon speak prof. Dr. Darko Tanasković.

On Sunday, September 29, at 9 a.m., Patriarch Porfirije will celebrate the holy liturgy with the bishops and clergy in the prayerful presence of the faithful.

"The program to celebrate 185 years of work of SPD "Unity" (1839) from Kotor will begin on Thursday, September 26 at 7:00 p.m. in the Treasury of the Serbian Orthodox Church Municipality in Kotor with the promotion of the book "Church of the Holy Apostle Luke in Kotor".

The holy liturgy and commemoration of deceased SPD members, "Unity" will be served in the church of St. Luke in Kotor on Saturday, September 28, starting at 8 a.m., Father Nemanja said. He added that on this occasion, the Order of Saint Sava will be presented to Vojin Lazarević, the biggest benefactor of the restoration of the Saint Nicholas Church, while the municipality of Kotor, which also participated in the restoration, will be presented with a plaque.
