Anthem of the Serbian Singing Society (SPD) "Unity" (1839) Kotor "In unity and with Unity we must go to the meeting", performed by his mixed choir under the baton of Mihajlo Lazarevic, M.Sc., on the Square of St. Luke in the old town of Kotor opened 28. june the second choral spiritual music festival "U jedinstu pejesmo srcu"

The opening concert on the square, which was filled by a large audience, was also attended by the president of Kotor Municipal Council Maja Mršulja, as well as the vice president of Kotor Municipality Siniša Kovačević and the director of TO Kotor Jovan Ristic.

The members of the SPD "Jedinstvo" administration, Petar Bukilica, greeted the attendees:

"Last year, when we organized the first one, we promised that we would try to organize this kind of festival in every subsequent one, with the aim that after a certain time it would grow into a beautiful tradition, such as with many festivals organized in our city.

And here, as you can see, we are on the right track with God's help and the help of our festival's sponsors, for whom I would like to thank once again, and above all the Municipality of Kotor and the Secretariat for Culture, Sports and Social Activities, because they recognized that culture is the best and the most important brand of this city.

I would like to thank the Tourism Organization of the Municipality of Kotor, the Serbian Orthodox Church Municipality of Kotor, all the volunteers and all the members of SPD "Jedinstvo" who are involved in the organization of this festival.

We owe special thanks to all the choirs and vocal groups, who accepted our invitation to be participants in this, second in a row, festival.

We hope that we will be good hosts and that they will take away only good memories from our city.

I am convinced that you will enjoy our program and I invite you to follow the events of the next two days in the concert hall of the Music School, which is also one of the sponsors of the festival. We owe the music school a big thank you because without them we would not be able to organize any of this at this level.

The programs will take place in the church of St. Nicholas and in this same place.

Thank you for enhancing tonight's concert with your presence and let the festival begin," said Bukilica.

After the host, SPD Choir "Jedinstvo" (1839) from Kotor, the Choir of the Church of St. Sava from Belgrade and the Chamber Choir of the Music Academy, University of East Sarajevo performed, receiving numerous applauses.

In the concert hall of the Music School and Church of the Holy Spirit today (Saturday) at 19:30, the male vocal group "Panonika" from Zrenjanin and the vocal ensemble "Res Miranda" from Novi Sad will perform.

The program continues at 21:30 in the Church of St. Nicholas and on Sunday, June 30 at 20:30 at Trg Sv. Ports in Kotor.

It is planned to close the festival with the performance of the "Holy Apostle and Evangelist Mark" choir from Podgorica.

By the way, right before the start of tonight's concert, the audience had the opportunity to enjoy, in addition to the announced program, the performances of the folklore ensembles of the Serbian diaspora in Australia, where Kotor was the first destination on the tour of Montenegro.

The ensembles of the Krug Academy from Sydney and the Banjo Academy from Melbourne performed.
