With a fatherly blessing full of joy, strength and love, the shows Ask the Priest on Radio Svetigora began, in which Father Momčilo Krivokapić was the dear host, while our listeners often had a question “just for Father Momo”.
He always had the time and energy, and most of all the love, to share his priestly experience with the listeners of our Radio, especially in this program, to advise, encourage, cheer us up and make us laugh with his wonderful, warm, sometimes harsh, but above all soul-beneficial words. He always knew what to say to whom, having learned from his Holy spiritual father, Ava Justin Popović, that every soul should be approached on dovelike feet.
This is also evidenced by the inexhaustible treasury of spiritual treasures that he left us in about 150 programs “Ask the Priest” in which he spoke to us about God and life, as well as a large number of interviews on various topics.
“If the Lord said: Without Me you can do nothing, and the Holy Apostle Paul says: I can do all things through Christ Jesus who gives me strength, then who am I? Mine is only to obey. We are not our own, but glory to God when we are Christ’s. And when we are Christ’s, we are paid dearly” – Father Momo taught us, never forgetting these words, passing them on to all of us who recognized in him a spiritual father and soul friend, delighting the listeners of this program with his cheerful spirit and teachings.
From his words, from his face and example of faith, love, hope and strength, we clearly learned what Orthodoxy is, rejoicing that we too had the blessing of living in the time of Father Momo, who for 50 full years, along with Metropolitan Amfilohije, was a pillar of the Church of Christ in Montenegro.
On the occasion of the repose of the blessed memory of our father, Archpriest-stavrophor Momčilo Krivopić, whose warm, strong and wise words marked the program of Radio “Svetigora” and especially the show “Ask the Priest”, we bring you excerpts from the shows “Ask the Priest”, in which Father Momo was a dear guest, and at the beginning he spoke about Thomas Sunday.
We owe great gratitude to My Father for his fatherly love, for the moments of joy that he gave us by being a guest on the waves of our Radio, especially in the show “Ask the Priest”, which he marked with his wise words full of fatherly love and care, loudly testifying to the words of love of Christ our God.
Father Momo, your fatherly love has taught us what those words mean: For even if you have thousands of teachers in Christ, you do not have many fathers.
