Victory of life: Presentation of the 321st issue of Svetigora

Happy Easter! Christ is truly risen!

For the readers of Svetigora, the Easter holidays will be brightened by the new 321st issue of the book for religion, culture and education of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral. This year, the feast of St. George coincided with Easter, and the sermon of the deceased, then bishop of Banat, Amfilohije "God of George is the true God" was published from the archive. Readers will find the letter addressed to his beloved son Amfilochius by Saint Justin of Cell "Lord Christ - the only Savior of the human race" interesting. Recently, the triple jubilee of St. ave Justin, as reported by the reportage from the Blaovijesta celebration from the Ćelija monastery, as well as the presentation of Metropolitan Joaniki of Montenegro-coast "Father Justin was a pillar of Orthodoxy". Another important anniversary found a place in this issue. On the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Branko Radičević, Svetigora presented the presentation of Milorad Durutović, MSc, "Njegoš, Branko, Kosovski zavjet".

In this issue, readers can get acquainted with the character and work of Pope Radovan Novović, with Dr. Milena Martinović's monograph on the manuscript books of the Cetinje Monastery, then with a collection of documents about S. M. Štedimlija. I can read the statement of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral on the Draft Law on legal recognition of gender identity based on self-determination. On the last pages are the regular sections Archive and Chronicle. A report on the celebration of the Momišići martyrs was highlighted.

Dragan Radoman's sermon was published in commemoration of 220 years of cooperation between Saint Peter of Cetinje and Karađorđe and on the occasion of 25 years of the Kosovo War and 20 years of the Kosovo Pogrom. Writing about that break and NATO aggression, Živojin Rakočević under the title "Victory of life over time" emphasizes that final victory - the resurrection.
